1. PRICES & TAX

Unless otherwise shown the price stated for the goods excludes VAT and carriage. These additions are made at the checkout page and are clearly shown before you reach the point of submitting your order. The shipping/delivery charges are for the United Kingdom mainland only and export shipping charges are available upon application. The price you pay will include VAT for all deliveries within the European Union. For deliveries outside the EU no VAT will be charged, however import duties may be payable on receipt of the goods. You will be liable for any import duties levied.

2. DESPATCH POLICY

We make every effort to ensure that all the items on our web site are available from stock. We offer no absolute guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale. Upon receipt of your order we will contact you by telephone within a short time to advise you of the availability of the item you have ordered and to let you know of any suitable alternative should your product not be immediately available. Goods are normally despatched within 2 working days (or same day if express delivery is ordered).

3. WARRANTY POLICY (applicable to UK Mainland only)

All goods are sold under our guarantee that they operate to the stated level in accordance with the manufacturers specifications. If within the period of twelve months following delivery the goods are found to be faulty, you may return the goods to our warehouse at your expense on the express condition that it is returned in the original packaging. At our discretion, the goods will be either repaired or exchanged within 28 days and returned to you again at your expense. We may be contacted by telephone, fax, email or post.

4. COLOURS

Due to the variations of browser software and monitors, the actual colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the web site.

5. CREDIT CARD SECURITY

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed through our secure servers. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer.

6. CONFIDENTIALITY

Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

7. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this web site.

8. JURISDICTION

The contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

9. CONSUMER RIGHTS

Roll-a-Ramps and handrails are built to order and are therefore not covered under Distance Selling Regulations. We will not accept returns of Roll-a-Ramps or handrails. Folding ramps are returnable and any private consumer can cancel their purchase of folding ramps at any time within 14 calendar days from receipt of goods and we will refund the price paid. You must inform us by email / fax / recorded delivery mail and return the goods immediately at your own cost and risk. Ramps must be unused and returned in the same condition and original packaging as they were received. Any statutory Consumer Rights are unaffected by this agreement. Please note that we will not accept returns of any product from business customers /users.

10. RE-STOCKING

We will not generally accept goods back after 14 calendar days (unless under warranty - see Consumer Rights above). However, if at our discretion, we should agree to accept goods for return after 14 calendar days, a re-stocking charge of 35% of the purchase price will be levied. This does not apply to Roll-a-Ramp or handrails which are not returnable.
