This high quality platform has 21inch high legs and a 3 inch fine adjustment.  The legs can be cut down should you require a lower height.  The platform is 4ft (122cm) sq. which allows ample room for a wheelchair to turn through 90°.  It is ideal for allowing 2 ramps at right angles thereby reducing the total gradient and also perfect for creating a right angle to enable the ramp to run parallel with the side of a building where the forward approach to the door maybe restricted in length.  The platforms are supplied complete with hand rails on two sides and are a very good solution for portakabins and similar portable buildings.

In those situations where a Roll-a-Ramp is installed and a handrail is required, the “bolt on” Roll-a-Ramp handrail kit provides both security and safety.  Constructed of aluminium tubing and coated in PVC the Roll-a-Ramp handrail kits are strong, lightweight and maintenance free, just as the Roll-a-Ramp itself.

The Roll-a-Ramp handrail kit can be fitted to either the left or right hand sides of the ramp (or both) and can be added at a later stage.  The brackets supplied with the handrail kit and which are fixed to the side of the ramp are designed so that the ramp can still be rolled up and put away when not required.

These quick release pins allow the user to join or separate ramp sections quickly and easily.  Long and therefore quite heavy ramps can then easily be split into two or more manageable sections.  This of course assists with easy storage as well. 

The positive lock pins also allow the easy coupling to the ramp of various Roll-a-Ramp accessories.

For use with ramps longer than 12 ft (3.66m) we advise the use of our centre support stands to both reduce “bounce” and to maintain the weight load integrity of your ramp.  The regular centre support stands can extend up to 70cm in height and the use of just one pair can enable a ramp to be constructed up to 20ft (6.1m) in length.  The stands are fitted at approximately 8ft (2.4m) intervals.

This folding trolley makes light work of transporting your Roll-A-Ramp.

Its easy operation and fold-flat facility for storage makes it a valuable accessory.

For a “semi permanent” or “flush” fitting then the seg mount brackets are a simple and easy solution. 

Fitted just below the top step and on the vertical face, the ramp is simply attached by folding the approach plate downwards and slotting it into the seg mount brackets.
These are very useful when you have an outward opening door and need a “flush” fitting.

These special approach plates are designed for use on Small Van applications.

The Low Van Entry Plate will maximize the entry space on a Mini Van and accommodate the fascia that covers the van’s sliding door mechanism.

With this upper approach plate the Roll-a-Ramp will allow many clients to ride into the side door of a mini van. We find that these Plates have many ‘non vehicle’ applications too.

This assembly provides a simple installation of the Roll-a-Ramp into the side door of most full size vans. Using the Roll-a-Ramp manual bi-fold feature makes this a simple inexpensive option to allow many wheelchair users the ability to ride into their vans.

” The “bi-fold” feature simply means that the nuts and bolts used for joining the treads to one another are tightened accept for the pair at the centre point of the ramp.  In this configuration the ramp simply folds in half rather than rolls up”.

For those who wish to load into the bed of a pickup, this bracket provides an extra degree of security by holding the first load bearing section to the pickup tailgate. Bracket must be secured to the tailgate with either rivets or screws. The low profile does not interfere with other uses.
